Captor’s Comments:

I was awoken to a run in the early hours of the morning which resulted in a nice common. I spotted a few fish rising around 50 yards out milling across the front of the pads. They were moving slowly towards the point on the left. I found a lovely silt patch and baited it with half a kilo of Nash Scopex Squid Liver + Red Robin 15mm with a double 15mm matching hookbait over the top. Within under an hour the rod ripped off and I had one of the stunning Brooke Lake residents in the net. 2 in under 3 hours! Sometimes you just get lucky!
