Captor’s Comments:
caught using pinkies , with feeder with starfish bait mixed with pinkies and oats.The fish looks very much like a Bream, but the scales are too big, and it looks too heavily built - it also has a bit of Crucian carp to it - but it has no barbules on it, so it isn't one. Bream often cross with Roach, and Roach/Bream hybrids are very common. So that would be what I think i have, unless there is a species of fish that france has over here that we do not have in the UK - I know that there are several of these.
