Nash Scopex Squid Liver (Fresh / frozen boilies). Hookbait was a 15mm Scopex Squid Liver Plus boilie with a 10mm White Mach1 pop-up on top. I added a Nash "rock salt" chain reaction to mask the hook from weed/debris and to add some more attraction to the bait.

Captor’s Comments:

I really didn't expect the left rod to rip off that morning but sure enough it did... twice!

I baited with Monster Squid and Scopex Squid Boilies and left my hookbaits in a bucket with some lake water so they look washed out. Also this releases enzymes when they start to break down.

Rig was a Nash Fang X size 7 tied to 35lb Nash Missing Link totally stripped back (No coating) 1oz Nash Coated Lead in Silt/Weed colour with Nash 25lb Weed/Silt colour Leadcore - Nash Diffusion 5mm Bead and Nash Bullet XT Mainline in 15lb.

Oh my... so so nableep.
