Captor’s Comments:

Had a great day out with my Uncle (Fish Captures boss) at Drayton. It was scorching hot so we had most of our fish off the top. The number of fish in Drayton never stops amazing me. We had well over 30 fish between us on floaters. We were exhausted by the end as we could have spodded dog biscuits ALL DAY! THey just coud not get enough!

We lost loads of fish as well. We had a crazy number of hook pulls, probably due to the barbless rule and the way fish get hooked when you are surface fishing. Another factor may be due to the sometimes poor condition of the fish mouths.

Highly reccomend a day at Drayton if you need to get a bend iin your rod, but don't bother taking a newspaper - you won't get time to read it!

Thanks for a great day out Kie, but can we go fishing somewhere harder next time?
